I grew up in a Christian home in Arlington. Although I can point to several instances in my life where God was calling me to Himself, I did not answer that call and trust Christ as my personal Lord and Savior until I began attending Pantego Bible Church in 1995.
I attended the University of Texas at Arlington, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. While still in college I worked part-time as an accounts payable clerk at a small helicopter customizing company in Grand Prairie. I worked there for 14 years, eventually becoming the Chief Financial Officer and part owner after my graduation from UTA in 1987. My walk with Christ began during those days and my faith carried me through the difficult season after I chose to leave my position rather than compromise my integrity. I began working part-time as an accounts payable clerk for our church in 2003.
Equipped with an accounting degree, lots of enthusiasm for new challenges and many years of financial and operations experience, I began my tenure at the church and moved into a full-time role in 2005. Since then, my responsibilities have expanded into IT, operations, facilities management and personnel. I have been blessed to work here, in my sweet spot, for 20+ years, exactly where God wanted me all along.
I have two grown children. In my spare time, I love to garden, watch baseball, and spend time with friends and family.
