I did not grow up in a Christian home. It wasn’t until I had my first child that I started attending church and learning about Jesus. About a year later, and with two babies, I gave my life to Christ and was baptized.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Each time I began to work on a master's degree, the Lord gave us another child. Little did I know, he was slowly guiding me to a life in ministry. It all began when I started attending church, I was immediately plugged into the Children’s Ministry, serving in the rooms with the youngest. As the years progressed, I moved up as my daughter did and started volunteering with Children’s Ministry during the week. When my daughter moved up from the Children’s Ministry, she and I led a small group together for several years. By this time, I was offered my current job where I support my team by ensuring they are best equipped to run their areas smoothly. It is a joy to work in the Children's Ministry and witness children coming to know Jesus personally.
I married my high school sweetheart, Patrick, in 1996. We have been blessed with three children: Jake, Jenna and Josh. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, camping, chatting with my daughter, listening to true crime podcasts and taking care of the plants that are overtaking my home.
