I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. My mom read the Bible to me when I was little and would tell me about Jesus. She was the first in her family to become a Christian and began to spread the gospel to the rest of her 16 siblings, her parents, and anyone else who would listen. I put my faith in Jesus when I was 12 years old and was baptized by Pastor Muñoz at the church we attended at that time, Congregación Vida Nueva (New Life Congregation).
I graduated from Fox Technical High School in 1995 and was accepted to attend Texas Christian University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in music education. I graduated in 1999, and married Sean in June of the same year. We have two kids, Ariane and Ian. We enjoy going on road trips, camping, playing our musical instruments, playing games, reading, watching good movies, and having cookouts.
We started attending Central Bible Church in 2006, and I began serving in the Children’s Ministry to help in my daughter’s age group and moved up with her and my son through the years. I have also volunteered with the Women’s Ministry, Read2Win Ministry, Threads of Compassion Ministry, and Student Ministry, where I am currently serving.
