I was very fortunate to be raised in a Christian home, in church multiple times a week. I was “baptized” as a child. When I turned 40, I realized I had turned away from God and chose to rededicate my life to Him. At that time, I was baptized by immersion and began to live for Him again.
In 2010 I was living in the Plano area and was widowed unexpectedly. When this happened, I moved back to Arlington to live close to my family. One of my new neighbors would bring me The Scrolls Bible studies every week, and I would do them; however, it took me some time to visit what was then Pantego Bible Church. My first time visiting Pantego I knew this would be my new home church. For a couple of years I drove to work, in Plano, from Arlington. One Sunday I saw in the bulletin at church that there was an opening for a bookkeeper. I interviewed and was hired in March of 2013. I have been here ever since and love what I do, I am amazed how the time has flown.
I met my husband, Steve, in October 2022. We got married in December 2024. He has 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter. I am blessed, for sure. We enjoy grilling and eating Tex-Mex mostly. I love anything outside, when the weather permits.
