Though raised in a Christian home, I quit practicing my faith after high school. In 2010 I met a pastor who lovingly counseled, taught, and discipled me until I recommitted my life to God. I’ve been seeking to know God a little more each day ever since.
I had no plans of working in ministry. Though I began volunteering on the worship team in 2015, I had been practicing cosmetology since 2013. After a few years in the beauty industry, I began to sense that God was calling me to a career in worship ministry. I originally came on staff as the Worship Associate in January 2018 and was made the Worship Director in the summer of 2021. As Worship Director I love helping facilitate the gathering of believers each Sunday morning. Along with planning Sunday morning services, I also regularly help with anything music-related including Night of Worship, women’s events, A3 lunches, and one of my favorites – Kids Camp. I’ve also had the opportunity to lead worship at a retreat in Germany for missionaries and hope to continue to minister around the world
My amazing wife Jessica and I have been married since 2012 and we have two great sons, Samuel and Wyatt. They are by far my biggest support and I couldn’t do ministry without them in my corner. In my down time I love to cook, watch documentaries, and work out. I’m also a fan of dad jokes and useless trivia.
