I grew up in Amarillo, Texas, raised by parents whose top priority was helping me understand the gospel. We were in church every Sunday, and I attended a private Christian school during my elementary years. It was during a chapel service at school that I first placed my faith in Christ. However, it was in high school that I truly began to understand what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus and started walking closely with Him.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Hardin-Simmons University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Leadership Studies. After that, I moved to the Dallas–Fort Worth area to attend Dallas Baptist University, where I completed a Master’s degree in Global Leadership. That move led me to CBC—where I began serving as the Children's Ministry Intern in 2019. In 2020, I stepped into a full-time role as the Children's Ministry Associate and Global Impact Coordinator. In 2022, I became the Missions Coordinator, and in 2024, I stepped into my current role as Missions Director. What a journey it's been!
God called me to ministry when I was a sophomore in high school, and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in short-term missions around the world in various capacities. In my current role, I have the privilege of caring for our church’s local and global partnerships and preparing and equipping our short-term teams for missions. I believe God has called me to be a sender, and I am honored to steward this role in an effort to make Him known both in our community and among the nations. I also have the privilege of helping to steward our internship program, CoNEXT.
I married my favorite person in the world, Camden, in 2022, and we spend most of our time obsessing over our puppy, June. I am an extrovert who loves intentional conversations, traveling, listening to crime podcasts and I certainly wouldn’t turn down a good walk on the beach—and if I get to do any of that with friends or family, that's my kind of joy.
