Missions Administrative Assistant
I was born and raised in a Christian family right here in East Fort Worth. I attended East Handley Elementary, Handley Middle, and Eastern Hills High School. At six years old, my pastor led me to the Lord. I was baptized in our church by my dad at nine years old. I have loved learning more about Him for as long as I can remember.
I attended the University of Texas at Arlington where I was very involved in the Baptist Student Ministry. While in college, I also served as a camp counselor at a Christian children’s camp in Oklahoma. I have an English degree from UTA, and I also completed my teaching certification. I taught 5th grade Language Arts in Mansfield ISD for a year before beginning my journey as a stay-at-home mom.
I serve as the Missions Administrative Assistant for CBC. As a student, I participated in short-term exchange programs through Fort Worth Sister Cities to Nagaoka, Japan, and Trier, Germany. These trips broadened my horizons and sparked my love for other cultures. I am honored to participate in global ministries.
My husband, Jason, and I met on a blind date and married in 2001. We love doing life as a family with our three kids: Alexander, Grant and Victoria. We are also the proud parents of a boxer named Duke. I love staycation weekends with my husband, coffee with a good friend, great food on a patio with live music, and traveling to explore new places.
