When I was 15 years old, my best friend invited me to Pantego Bible Church where I placed my faith in Jesus during a Wednesday nightStudent Ministry program. Pantego, later named Central Bible Church, is near and dear to my heart because it is not only the place where I surrendered to Jesus as my Lord and Savior but it is also where I met my incredible husband, Jimmy, and have discipled our two beautiful daughters, Caroline and Hannah.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with my master's in social work, I worked as a Family Therapist at Lena Pope Home, then as a Clinical Supervisor at Parenting with Love and Limits while homeschooling our daughters and serving as the director of Women’s Ministry at Pantego Bible Church.
In 2017 I joined the CBC staff as the Women’s Minister. After earning my certification in biblical counseling from the Association of Biblical Counselors, I launched Central Counseling, which is a free biblical counseling ministry. Through this ministry we provide counsel for individuals, couples, and families as well as supervision to a team of certified biblical counselors.
Jimmy and I have enjoyed wedded bliss since 2002. As a family we love to spend our time together discussing theology, playing games, watching movies, rooting for the Dallas Stars and traveling, especially on mission trips. As a couple we have had the honor of serving as Shepherds and Home Group Leaders where we have formed lifelong friendships and have experienced the love of Jesus through life in community.
