I was raised in a Christian household with a loud, devout Christian mother. I grew up knowing about God and Jesus without being in a personal relationship with Him. After a crisis in my 20s, Jesus’ grace for me was revealed truly and He became my personal Savior.
I’ve lived in the DFW area my entire life. I learned about God and the Bible through my mother’s evangelistic spirit, my education at Temple Christian School and Sunday school lessons growing up. After my father passed away in 2014, I searched for identity and purpose that I found in Christ. Holding on to His promises (Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10), I left my retail job, connected to a Home Group at CBC, and applied for an open part time position on the Events/Security staff. Since 2015, I have been blessed to be a part of the wonderful CBC staff. I am happy to support the Lord’s work through His ministries at Central as the Logistics and IT Manager.
Born and raised in the DFW area, I enjoy taking apart and reassembling computers, playing games such as Age of Empires II or Halo, and reading any of the works of Henry Cloud or Kenneth E. Bailey, and just generally thinking about things.
