I was primarily raised in a Christian household, though my situation is a bit unique. My parents and I came to Christ together in my early years of childhood. We have been attending Central (Pantego) since I was roughly 2 years old. None other than Manny Fernandez led me to Christ when I was 5 years old in a Wednesday night class.
As a senior in high school, I felt the Lord clearly calling me to a career in hospitality, specifically event planning. I graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management from Dallas Baptist University in December of 2022. I would then go on to work for a full-service caterer in Dallas for 2 years out of college. When I was serving at student camp in 2024, I felt the Lord calling me to use my skills and strengths for His kingdom. I wasn't sure what that looked like or what exactly He was calling me to. This is how, after nearly two years of searching and praying, I ended up working at my home church!
My husband, Evan, and I got married in June of 2023. We live in Fort Worth with our crazy pup, Frank! We enjoy cooking and hosting our friends and family in our home. In my downtime, I enjoy going for walks, watching movies, baking, reading, or catching up with friends and family over good food (primarily Tex-Mex!).
