Public Safety and Logistics Coordinator
My journey began in a small New England village a few miles from the coast. Growing up in a predominantly Catholic community, I was raised in Catholicism like everyone else. During my first year of college, war in the Gulf seemed inevitable, and I enlisted in the United States Army. Little did I know that this upheaval in my normal life would deepen my faith in Christ. I attended any Christian service the military offered and became a biblical sponge. I felt God pouring into me and I was drawing closer to Him.
Settling in Texas, I was invited to join an Assembly of God church. While there, I realized in June of 1993 that Christ died for me, a sinner, and I accepted Christ into my heart. After relocating, I attended the local Baptist church until relocating again. With each transition, I felt God was pouring into me what I needed at that time in my life. Arriving in Fort Worth, I was invited to attend Pantego Bible Church (now Central Bible Church) by my wonderful bride, Stephanie. Our faith has continued to grow where God has placed us, and we have been serving and attending for over 25 years!
In 2001, newly married, I became employed as a Regional Logistics Manager. I did not return to college until age 40, when I began working on my Business Administration degree at Dallas Baptist University. Meanwhile, I was blessed to serve as the Shepherd of the Bailey Community for over a decade. After 30 years of employment and multiple roles, I finally retired to spend more energy and time with family and God.
I now have the privilege of serving again as part of Central’s team, as a Public Safety and Logistics Coordinator! You'll often find me providing safety services during Sunday services or working on the church’s mechanical assets in the Maintenance Building. If you’re up early enough, you can find me driving the Central Storehouse box truck, picking up a few thousand pounds of food for our neighbors. It is an honor to be a part of both these groups of loving professionals.
Stephanie and I are blessed with five incredible children, an amazing daughter-in-law, and a revolving door of young adults from Central’s college ministry! We love spending time together at our family farm located in southeast Texas, as well as staying one step ahead of the honey crop for our 15 beehives. In whatever capacity, continuing to be a useful tool for God, His people, and His ministry, is paramount to me as well as my family. Stop by and say hello or catch me at the door and I will gladly shake your hand!
