I grew up in Mississippi where my family and I were very involved in church. I distinctly recall one Sunday night leaning over to my mom and telling her that the Lord was tugging at my heart to walk to the front and pray the prayer of salvation. From the age 8 on, the Lord has guided and directed my life and I am so thankful for my relationship with Him.
I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College and spent a few years teaching before moving to Texas. My career took a turn and I have spent the past 12 years in the field of Human Resources. As the KinderKix Coordinator, I am looking forward to getting back into a classroom setting and helping our children grow spiritually as well as developmentally.
My husband, Matt and I have been married since 2021 and we have one daughter, Annabelle. In my free time I love to host our friends and family (any excuse for a party, cooking- old faithful recipes or trying something new) and traveling. We have a goal to try to see all the states.
